Excellent hotel; great location and fantastic, helpful staff (in particular a hose at the main Reception and Bar). Location well served by Metro / Buses / Taxi (20 mins from airport) etc and hotel has great amenities including stunning roof top bar and is located next door to the wonderful Retairo Park. All tourist attractions and shops / restaurants easily accessible. Easily a five star experience overall.

We had a lovely time in Madrid recently and the hotel was part of our enjoyment. We had a twin room which wasn’t huge but suited our needs. A fantastic location next to the Retiro park and near the metro station. The window was small so not much light but not an issue as we were out in the sunshine. Lovely bathroom with a great shower, nice amenities, plenty of towels. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good but i would have liked the oat milk to be out with the other milks as i had to ask 3 staff before someone understood what I was asking for despite a sign out saying it was available. We loved the roof top bar and enjoyed drinks and food up there on a couple of occasions, it had a good atmosphere and good service. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location near the Retiro park and a lot of the main sights are walk-able. We had a room at the back of the hotel and it was pretty quiet and comfortable, albeit not the biggest room. The house keeping was a bit hit and miss in terms of topping up coffee and milk etc. We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast, especially when compared to other H10 hotels we've stayed in - if we hadn't had it included in our price I wouldn't have bothered, especially for the price.

Good H10 Standard in a Good Madrid Location

Comfortable room with a balcony and nice view over Madrid. Consider this a business rather than a tourist hotel. There seem to be more Spanish business guests than others. Good breakfast room although busy and sometimes the food (juice, butter, yogurt etc) needs replenishing when you are looking for it. Our room was not cleaned by 4pm one day and we had to call to get it serviced. The room had one bathrobe for 2 persons and it was a child’s size. Lifts were small and heavily used. Nice rooftop patio serving food and drinks, with a great view. Just check your orders as one of the servers tried to both upsell and overcharge for our food and wine orders. Sometimes there can be language issues (English capability in this hotel is below our experience in other cities in Spain with more tourists). Location is excellent. A short walk to parks, restaurants and within walking distance of all three of Madrid’s exceptional art museums.

Great h10 hotel but customer service hasn’t been as good as other h10 hotels

Having been to several h10 hotels in Spain we knew the sort of quality and customer service to expect. The hotel is typically h10 - modern eclectic in style, and customer service focused. However, still halfway thru our stay I would say that our experience of customer service hasn’t met the exceptional standards of other h10s we have stayed in. Our check in experience was good but not brilliant. We had to ask for a glass of cava (normally this is offered to members) and the explanation of the hotels facilities wasn’t explained or offered. We were given a complimentary drinks voucher to plus extras in the room for a birthday complement which were very much appreciated. However, the bar staff weren’t very helpful when we asked for champagne glasses to go with our cava (saying that they didn’t have any, despite having had drinks In champers glasses previously) and were a bit rude about it. Just as we were finishing our bottle the waitress ‘found’ some champagne glasses. Sadly the roof terrace closed at 8pm despite very warm weather and being busy and sadly when we tried to go up there there were so many non residents that we could not get a table. Will try again before we leave. The location of the hotel is great - right on the edge of the park de retiro and about a 20min walk into the centre, with Salamanca and ibiza areas nearby - lots of bars and restaurants. Rooms are lovely, great aircon, good showers, coffee machines and super comfy beds. So all in all very good but customer service hasn’t been as good as we were hoping x
